This one works for me everytime I’m doubting things.
    Especially matters of faith.
    It’s from Stephen King’s “The Stand”…
Ralph Bretner: Uh, Nick says that… he says he don’t believe in God.
    [Mother Abagail laughs.]
Mother Abagail: God bless ya, Nick! But it don’t matter none! He believes in you.
Sometimes when we can’t believe, it’s just enough to know that there are spiritual forces and people who believe in us anyway.
Then we find our way back to believing in ourselves.

“Practice listening – to your friends, your children, music, the wind, your dreams, the ancient wisdom of sacred texts. Listen as though your life depended on it.
    It does.”

“Have no fear of moving into the unknown. Simply step out fearlessly knowing that I am with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well. Do this in complete faith and confidence.”

A human being is a part of the whole, called by us “Universe,” a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security.
    — Albert Einstein
