I bought a lottery ticket the other day and as the clerk handed it to me he said “How about giving me a million dollars of it if you win?”
I answered him “Yeah… Right!”. I then walked off thinking “How delusional was that?”
I then thought to myself “You just promised to give away a million dollars… How delusional was that?”
My next thought was “This is a matter of principle… Are you honest or not?”.
Next, next thought “If being honest gets me the Jackpot… Pay the man what you promised”.
Next, next thought “This whole debate is absurd”.
Final thought, Soren Kierkegaard once said “The highest form of faith is – trust in the absurd”.
P.S. I hope I get a chance to “trust the absurd” LOL!
