I’ve been here before, but now I am back on Addiction to Rehabilitation after on-and-off drinking bouts for the past couple of months. During that time, I’ve really let my fitness goals slide, and exercise has always been important to me because it keeps me (somewhat) level-headed.
I’ve had pretty good workouts the past two days, but wow, I am amazed at how quickly my heart rate gets way up there! I’ve had to go far slower on the treadmill and elliptical than I did just three months ago.
That’s one of the things drinking can do to you. Ruin your health and fitness! So I am back here on this forum for inspiration.
My goal for this week is to get 30 minutes of exercise a day, and when I can handle it, an hour. Even if it’s “just” walking. 🙂
